CBM Solutions offers a wide variety of services in support of Gas Shale and CBM exploration and development. We will design and carry out an analytical program to suit the project.  Our services include high pressure isotherms of all gases,  Langmuir modeling, Extended Langmuir modeling, coal/organic  petrology, vitrinite reflectance and proximate and other typical coal analyses.  Our gas shale protocol included mineralogy by XRD, thin sections, SEM and fracture analyses, total organic carbon and Rock Eval, permeability by Hg immersion, crushed samples (core and cuttings) and under reservoir conditions, porosity to various gases and  Hg porosimetry.  Our rock mechanics/geomechanics tests are carried out using a servo controlled triaxial apparatus under prescribed stress states and pore pressure. We can deform whole core samples ranging form 1 inch to 4 inches in diameter, alleviating the necessity of recoring existing core. We additionally ,measure ultrasonic compressional and shear wave velocities to collect dynamic elastic moduli that can be use for calibration of  logs.
